Implementation / Focused Entry
Fix one expensive workflow. Make it work in the real world.
Choose one bottleneck, such as intake, reporting, research, or meeting follow-through. We design and implement a governed AI-assisted workflow around it.
What does a small-business AI implementation consultant actually do?
QuickLaunch selects one costly workflow, maps the existing steps and decision points, and implements a tested process with a human owner. The result may use AI, ordinary automation, or both. It is not an agent by default, and it is not complete until the team knows how to review, correct, and maintain it.
This focused sprint is for a founder or operations lead who wants a working improvement before committing to a broader AI operating system.
When this is the right move
For teams that know the pain point and want a working result before committing to a broader operating-system build.
Before: work is fragmented or overly dependent on individuals. After: roles, information, decisions, and review are clear enough for people and AI to work together.
Common signals
- Meetings generate discussion but not owned decisions.
- Document intake or research repeats by hand.
- Follow-up depends on one person remembering everything.
How the work moves
- Discover the workflow and measure friction
- Design the desired handoffs and review points
- Build and test the assisted workflow
- Document, train, and hand off
The scope follows the actual bottleneck. We do not prescribe tools or automation before understanding who owns the work and where human judgment belongs.
What you leave with
Deliverables are scoped to the engagement and designed to be used, maintained, and evaluated by your team.
- One prioritized workflow map
- A working AI-assisted process with human review
- Tests for normal and exception cases
- Documentation and a next-step recommendation
A realistic first workflow
Suppose incoming requests arrive through email, calls, and a shared form. The team retypes details, misses follow-ups, and asks the founder which requests matter most. We map the intake fields, define a single owner, and create a triage rule. AI may summarize a request or suggest a category; it does not silently promise scope or price. A person approves the response before it reaches the customer.
We test normal requests and exceptions, including missing information, sensitive data, and unusual commitments. The handoff includes the process, review points, and what to monitor. If simple rules solve the problem, we use simple rules. If the decision depends on judgment, we keep a human in the loop.
Not sure whether you need an agent or workflow automation? Start with the decision: is the task repeatable, are the inputs reliable, and who is accountable when the output is wrong? Those answers determine the tool.
Built for accountable execution
QuickLaunch brings founder advisory, organizational design, governance, and hands-on implementation together. AI is assigned a specific role inside the operating system, with human owners and escalation where needed.
Rick's technology and operations experience spans more than 35 years; his founder work spans two decades. The aim is operational capacity, not an impressive demo that no one can run.
Questions before we start
Is this just automation setup?
No. We design the workflow, decision rules, and review before choosing tools. The goal is a process that holds up after handoff.
What happens on a fit call?
We identify the immediate constraint and decide whether the next step is clarity work, a focused implementation, a larger build, or a different kind of support.
